Notes From Slip caught up with former Otago player Neil Mallender for a chat recently. The English seamer enjoyed a tremendous career for the province from 1983 to 1993. He took 268 firstclass wickets at an average of 20.27, including 14 fivewicket bags and 10 wickets in a match three times.
