Kings actually beat Aces

Cricket: The Canterbury Kings beat the Auckland Aces by 10 wickets in their Super Smash match at Eden Park Outer Oval yesterday.

In a match reduced by rain to five overs, the Aces scored 52 for four which the Kings knocked off with three balls to spare.

The match between the Hearts and Magicians at the same venue was abandoned.

Pakistan A beat a New Zealand XI by 101 runs in a twenty20 match at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval at Lincoln yesterday.
