Influential coach dies

-

Tennis: Bob Brett, the Australian tennis coach who was an influential figure in Boris Becker's career, has died of cancer at the age of 67.

Brett shaped the careers of Goran Ivanisevic and Marin Cilic and guided Becker to three grand slam titles and the world No 1 ranking. He had a shortlived playing career but found his calling as a coach and learned the trade under one of coaching's greatest names, Harry Hopman. — AAP
