Rescued after fall

-

Timaru: Three climbers have been rescued after falling on to rocks near Stewart's Glacier in Mt Cook National Park.

The men, aged in their 50s, activated their personal locator beacon on Wednesday morning after falling up to 15m on Tuesday afternoon.

They were unable to be rescued by helicopter until Wednesday afternoon due to heavy cloud cover and the nature of the terrain. — RNZ
