Senior Open rescheduled

Golf: The US Senior Women’s Open is being rescheduled to remove a conflict with the Women’s British Open.

Both tournaments were scheduled for August 1922, but the USGA announced yesterday the US Senior Women’s Open will now be played July 29August 1 at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Connecticut.

It will be the third instalment of the tournament, which debuted in 2018 in Chicago. The 2020 tournament was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
