Submissions due

Invercargill: Submissions for the Invercargill city centre master plan close tomorrow.

The plan looks at how to attract people to the city centre and create connections between new developments and existing retailers and businesses.

A council spokeswoman said early last week it had received about 30 emails and social media comments in regards to the master plan.

‘‘When all the feedback is received from the public, it will be collated to share with the council.

‘‘The next step will be for a consultant to begin detailed design of certain streetscapes.’’
