Airport road work to begin

-

Auckland: Work on a new loop road from Auckland Airport’s international terminal is restarting to meet projected postCovid19 demand.

The airport put the brakes on a number of infrastructure projects following the collapse in demand for air travel last year but says the new exit from the international terminal area for travellers will deliver a robust transport network to meet future demand.

The $10million project, which will complete a oneway loop connecting George Bolt Memorial Dr — the main road between the airport and the city — with the international terminal, is due to be finished about the middle of the year.
