Homicide inquiry launched

Tauranga: A homicide investigation has been launched in the Bay of Plenty after a man was found dead at an in Omanawa property.

Police were called to the address in McLaren Falls Rd, near Tauranga, about 10pm on Monday following a report of a person being injured.

When officers arrived they found the man dead. Police said a person was assisting with their inquiries. — RNZ
