Robbery charges

Auckland: A 29yearold man has been charged with aggravated robbery and wounding, after a shooting at an Auckland dairy.

Police said they arrested the man in Manukau yesterday morning, and he was due to appear in the Manukau District Court.

The Manurewa dairy was robbed by two people on January 18, and at the time police said cash and cigarettes were taken.

The shop worker who was shot in the leg had been discharged from hospital and was ‘‘recovering well’’, police said.
