Train crash victim named

Featherston: The driver killed at the scene of a cartrain crash in South Wairarapa on Thursday has been named.

Police have identified him as Godwell Mahowa (58), of Lower Hutt.

Mr Mahowa died after his car collided with a train at Speedy’s Crossing, in Western Lake Rd, South Wairarapa, about 2pm. — RNZ
