Seacliff inmates cheered

-

THE Kaikorai Band paid a visit to the Mental Hospital at Seacliff on Saturday afternoon and gave a concert to the patients. The band left by motor car at 2 o’clock, and on arrival at the hospital gave a concert in the afternoon, and in the evening played a programme of dance music and selections. The patients were delighted with the performance, and the band earned the sincere thanks of the staff and inmates, which were suitably expressed by a member of the staff at the conclusion of the evening. Refreshments were provided by the medical superintendent, and the band thoroughly enjoyed their outing.
