Australia funds vaccine

Phnom Penh: Australia will provide $A35.7 million ($NZ38 million) to help inoculate at least 1.5 million Cambodians against Covid19 through the rollout of vaccines to be approved by the World Health Organisation.

The assistance package would significantly bolster Cambodian efforts in vaccinating 80% of its 16 million people against the virus as soon as practicable, the Australian embassy and the Cambodian government announced yesterday. — AAP
