How marvellous to have the train in action
MY family and I have just come back from a great train trip to Hindon. The trip was booked out, the crew were excellent and all went out of their way to ensure we all had a really good experience.
Congratulations to all the railway supporters who fought so hard to keep this historic train service running.
Sometime, hopefully, trains will return to Middlemarch and eventually with the support of our environmentally friendly mayor and council, we may get the trains back between Dunedin and Christchurch.
Let’s all get behind this and support the service that is now there and push for it to develop even further.
