American wins SI champs

Disc golf: Travelling American Justin Workman won the South Island disc golf championships at the weekend.

In a field of about 120 competitors, Workman won by a considerable margin. Workman has been in New Zealand for about a year and has been living in Wanaka.

Hayley Flintoff, of Wanaka, won the women’s grade at the championships at Waiora Scout Camp.
