Two hurt in city crash

TWO people were injured in a twocar crash at a central Dunedin intersection yesterday. A police spokeswoman said they were alerted to the crash, at the intersection of London and Stuart Sts, about 7.34am. A St John spokesman said one person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with moderate injuries, and another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The crash blocked the intersection for a time and tow trucks were called to remove the vehicles.
