Broad range of services available
IT’S exciting times at Three Parks commercial and retail development.
Commercial sales and marketing manager Mark Pittaway said more than 25 local and national commercial businesses were making Three Parks their place of business to service and supply Wanaka and surrounding Central Otago markets.
From the commercial perspective Three Parks provided a broad range of services including warehousing, recreational sports vehicle, motor vehicle sales and servicing, electricians, plumbing, vet clinic, engineers, laundromat, bakery, self storage and trade space units, and commercial offices.
New World, Mega Mitre 10, and BP Connect had opened during the last year, and even more growth would happen this year as construction commenced on three blocks of retail shops representing about 15 new retailers, including international brand Mountain Warehouse.
The goal was to complete these buildings during 2022, offering Wanaka both large and medium format retail shops next to the New World. Another exciting feature would be the construction of smaller specialty stores facing on to Sir Tim Wallis Drive.
To complement the growth of the town centre, an office park was planned along Sir Tim Wallis Drive which would feature two level office buildings each with their own car parks at the rear of the building.
Sites for these buildings were for sale and offered owner occupiers and investors a unique investment opportunity in Three Parks.
One of Wanaka’s long established businesses is enjoying being based at Three Parks. Central Machine Hire is Central Otago’s leading contracting specialist combining an experienced cando team with leading technology to deliver world class contracting services.
The company operated a large range of heavy plant and transport equipment to provide an unequalled range of specialist services. From day one to delivery the team was involved in all stages of the subdivision build – earthworks and site preparation, kerbing and roading, infrastructure trenching, water and waste water reticulation and drainage.
Central Machine Hire also provided stateoftheart hydro vac/jetting unit for exposing services. It also supplied a range of earthworks, cartage and craneage services to rural, residential, and commercial customers, including landscape and aggregate supplies.
Nichols Landscaping, part of the Nichols Garden Centre group based in Dunedin, were also thriving at Three Parks. The Wanaka team were skilled tradespeople experienced in creating outdoor living areas incorporating all aspects of landscape work including paving, decks, fences, retaining walls, stonework, lawns, planting, water features, and much more.
Key to being one of Central Otago’s leading landscape companies was their ability to fulfil customers’ requirements, incorporating their ideas and working closely to achieve their dreams.
