One hurt in motorway crash
A person was seriously hurt when their car rolled on Dunedin’s Northern Motorway yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said they were notified of the crash, near Pigeon Flat Rd, just before 7am.
The car was upsidedown and the single occupant was trapped until emergency services personnel freed them using cutting equipment.
A St John spokesman said the person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.
A tow truck was called to remove the car.
