Tractor rolls, one person seriously hurt

A person received serious injuries after a small tractor rolled in North East Valley, Dunedin, yesterday morning.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to a Buccleugh St property at 10.50am, after reports of a vehicle rolling.

The street was blocked for a time as fire crews worked to retrieve the tractor operator, but was clear by 11.40am.

A St John spokesman said one person had been taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.

WorkSafe was notified.
