Police on lookout for grain
Oamaru: Twenty tonnes of grain was stolen from a North Otago rural property last week.
Constable Dean Paterson, of Oamaru, said the grain, valued at up to $8000, was stolen from a silo in Airedale Rd, near Weston last Friday.
‘‘I’d like to know if there’s been any farmers that have been offered that amount of grain,’’ Const Paterson said.
