Falconers gathering to test skills

The competition, which a record number of elite falconers are participating in, is running until February 16 in Dubai’s Al Ruwayyah desert area.
Over the years, the annual falconry championship, organised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, has grown in popularity and prestige. It is now recognised as the second most highly anticipated annual gathering of the best falconers from across the United Arab Emirates, Gulf Cooperation Council states and beyond.
