Car crashes into shop

Auckland: A person inside a South Auckland Subway restaurant says there was a horrendous noise as a car careered through large shopfront windows and came to rest inside the food outlet.

Staff and customers cowered as the vehicle mounted the footpath and smashed through the front of the popular sandwich eatery in Manurewa about 10.15am yesterday.

Noone was hurt in the accident
