Mob comes and goes

-

About 30 Mongrel Mob members passed through Dunedin yesterday, the latest stop in their Southern road trip.

Police said the members left Mataura about 6.30am.

They stopped to get petrol at Caltex in Dunedin's Great King St, before continuing on to the Northern Motorway.

There were no issues while they were in the city and, while police were keeping an eye on them, there was no official police escort.

They had previously visited Queenstown, following a national hui in Christchurch last weekend.

Members were seen walking around town, visiting bars and restaurants, taking jetboat rides and visiting a car show.
