Successful Maniototo show

Typical Central Otago weather prevailed on Thursday for the holding of the Maniototo A & P Association’s show at Ranfurly and as a result the fixture was an unqualified success from every point of view. The attendance was very large during the afternoon; in fact, it created a new record, and the show has obviously established itself as a permanent popular attraction for the residents of the whole of the surrounding districts. The favourable season which has been experienced in Central Otago was reflected in the fine condition in which the bulk of the stock was shown. — ODT, 7.2.1921.
