One hurt in crash

ONE person was moderately injured after a crash in Waihemo yesterday morning.

A police spokeswoman said it was called to the scene of a singlecar crash at the intersection of Loop Rd and DunbackMorrisons Rd, about 11.20am.

A St John alert said four ambulances and a helicopter were called to the scene.

The injured person was taken to Dunedin Hospital.
