Mosque remembrance

Christchurch: A national remembrance service will be held in Christchurch in March to commemorate the second anniversary of the terror attacks at the Al Noor and Linwood mosques.

The event will be held on March 13 and the programme will be based on 2020 event, which had to be cancelled due to Covid19.

The Christchurch City Council said the event was to be held on March 13, rather than the actual anniversary of March 15, as it was hoped that more people would be able to attend on the weekend. — RNZ
