Covid case in isolation

Wellington: There was one historical case of Covid19 in managed isolation in New Zealand yesterday.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health said the case arrived from the United States on February 8 and tested positive around day zero of routine testing. The person was in a managed isolation facility in Christchurch.

The total number of active cases in New Zealand was 54 and the total number of confirmed cases was 1968. — RNZ
