Planter boxes to go, DCC to consult before next trial

THE Dunedin City Council has confirmed it will remove concrete planter boxes which were installed in Mosgiel and Outram as part of the MosgielTaieri Safer School Streets trials.

A council spokeswoman said stage two of the trials would begin soon.

‘‘Before the trials begin, we will talk to the community and schools through a workshop, letters and surveys about what they would like included in the trials.

‘‘We will release more information next week.’’
