Massey opens hospital wing
THE Prime Minister had a very busy day yesterday, but he managed to find time to visit the KaritaneHarris Hospital, accompanied by Mrs Massey, to open the new mothercraft building. There was a large attendance, in which ladies were naturally predominated. Dr Truby King (president of the Royal Society for the Health of Women and Children) said the main purpose of the new building and of the Amy Carr cottage, which was built in the same year, was to promote accommodation for mothers and children, especially with a view to teaching the essentials
