Boating injuries

Nelson: Two men have been seriously injured in a boating incident in the Marlborough Sounds.

A member of public informed the police about the accident early yesterday.

They were found at Portage, off Kenepuru Rd, near the marina.

Both have were flown to Wellington Hospital, one in critical condition and the other with serious injuries.

Police said they did not know what had happened, but informed Maritime NZ, which confirmed it was investigating. — RNZ
