Decals staying in ANBL

Basketball: The Australian NBL will not remove decals from its courts this season despite repeated calls from players citing them as a safety concern.

Three times this season the players’ association has requested action after players have slipped on or near sponsor stickers on court.

However, the ANBL yesterday said the decals met Fiba standards and were the same as used when the Boomers play officially sanctioned Fiba fixtures in Australia. — AAP
