Motorbike spectacle at Warrington

THE annual speed trials of the Otago Motor Club were held on the Warrington beach on Saturday afternoon before a large attendance. The conditions were very severe, the heavy southwest wind blowing the sand across the beach, but the times put up in the races were very creditable. Findlay McDonald, riding a HarleyDavidson, again showed what a fine rider he is by winning the 20mile handicap from scratch against a field of 18 riders. The course was a mile long; competitors being required to turn at each end.
