Woman’s body found

Oamaru: A 35yearold woman reported missing from Oamaru on Saturday was found dead on Sunday.

The woman did not return from a walk at Cape Wanbrow on Saturday morning.

A search and rescue effort was launched before police confirmed on Sunday evening she had been found dead.

The death was not being treated as suspicious and would be referred to the coroner.
