Cartractor crash causes injury

A PERSON suffered minor injuries after a car and tractor crashed at Woodlands, in Southland, yesterday afternoon.

A St John spokeswoman said an ambulance from Invercargill responded about 2.20pm.

St John treated one person with minor injuries and transported them to Kew Hospital, in Invercargill, the spokeswoman said.

A police spokeswoman said the crash, at the intersection of Stewart and Woodlands South Rds, delayed traffic temporarily.

Traffic was diverted down Waihopai Downs and Rimu Rd, the spokeswoman said.
