The historic Brydone Hotel is one of North Otago’s most versatile venues. Built in 1881 from Oamaru stone, this Victorian hotel is a soughtafter venue for weddings, bridal parties, engagement parties, and preand postwedding events. The beautiful architecture, majestic staircases, and grand chandeliers all help make your occasion special.
Situated a short walk from the Victorian Precinct, the public gardens and the waterfront, the Brydone Hotel offers some outstanding photo opportunities.
The dedicated team will make you and your guests feel special, with support provided from the moment of your enquiry to well after your event. They will work with you to personalise your menu, table setting, decorations, and other fine details, making this an occasion to be remembered.
For weddings, the bride and groom receive a complimentary suite for their wedding night.
The Brydone Hotel offers special wedding packages, including free functionroom hire, special accommodation rates for your guests, and a place to relax during the photo shoots.
Northstar has an awardwinning restaurant, wellappointed guest units, and a full bar, bottle store, gaming area, and a play area.
Management will work alongside you to create the perfect event to suit your style. They’ll personalise every function, and endeavour to cater to special requests. Northstar caters for weddings from 30 guests to larger groups up to around 150. With accommodation packages and a courtesy coach to transport local guests, location is not an issue.
