Marathon fundraising effort

DUNEDIN ultramarathon runner Glenn Sutton is a bit nervous but keen to get started on his latest running challenge — 580km nonstop from Milford Sound to Mt Cook.

‘‘It’s getting a bit real,’’ Mr Sutton (47) said yesterday from Queenstown as he prepared for his gruelling fourday run due to start at the waters of Milford Sound at 7.30am today.

For the first time on one of his longdistance runs, he is raising money for charity online. He has already gained more than $3000 of $20,000 he wants to give to the Otago Community Hospice.
