REGARDING the article about getting rid of frosted car windows (ODT, 26.5.21), I wouldn’t dream of scraping the windows. I get a container of warm water and throw it over the windows. The windows are fine immediately.

I AM appalled at the issues with inadequate sterilisation and cleaning of surgical equipment at Dunedin Hospital. The least the hospital should do is inform those patients who were potentially at risk, no matter how small the hospital may perceive this risk to be. Patients deserve transparency and openness.

IN our house, we close the lid before flushing the loo. Flushing generates massive aerosolisation — tiny particles that linger in the air. Instead of pondering too deeply on this, I’d rather just close the lid.

REGARDING the article in your paper suggesting New Zealand golf courses need upgrading (ODT, 9.10.21), I found the description of some of our courses to be lyrical and agreeable. Carved out by a farmer on a tractor generations ago, brilliant. New Zealand courses are an eclectic mix — promote them as such.
