Student beer

The new students’ first brews — pilsner, pale ale and kolsch (a fruity ale) — at Otago Brew School at Otago Polytechnic in Cromwell have been canned and can be found at the school’s cellar door at the start of the road to Bannockburn.

Next on their list are oatmeal stout, Dunkelweizen (dark wheat) and Scotch ale to warm up winter.
