Peaks peeking through the fog

-

The volcanic backbone of Otago Peninsula is surrounded by fog that blanketed much of Dunedin and surrounds yesterday morning. Seen from the northwest end (from right) are peaks Taiaroa Hill (236m high), Sheppards Hill (220m) and Harbour Cone (315m) and the high inner hills of the peninsula, with the hills behind West Harbour and Port Chalmers in the background. The MetService has forecast some evening low cloud or fog for today.  VIDEO: www.odt.co.nz/tv
