Abandoned jet ski torched

DUNEDIN Police are investigating after an abandoned jet ski was destroyed by fire at a remote intersection on the outskirts of Dunedin.

Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond, of Dunedin, said police were notified of the arson in Taieri Mouth Rd, Kuri Bush, about 6am yesterday.

The fire was spotted by a passing motorist. The jet ski was completely destroyed, Snr Sgt Bond said.
