Dozens killed in Congo

Kinshasa: Dozens of people were killed and many more are missing after armed men raided a mining encampment near the town of Mongwalu in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s eastern Ituri province on Sunday, three civil society leaders said yesterday.

Civil society leaders estimated between 30 and 50 people were killed. — Reuters
