Buchanan in top 20 twice
Motorcycling: Southland rider Cormac Buchanan had two top20 finishes in his first appearance in the European Talent Cup series in Portugal at the weekend.
Buchanan rode well in qualifying to make the starting grid — 22 of the 52 riders are cut before that point — then finished 16th in race 1 and 20th in race two.
His next event is the second round of the Talent Cup in Valencia in two weeks, before he rejoins the MotoGP Rookies Cup in Italy.
