Queenstown rents

I WAS of two minds when people wrote in and criticised Queenstown and Jim Boult for having a begging bowl out. After all, Queenstown District had 50 years of prosperity mainly contributed by tourism.

The reason why I have now landed on the side of antiQueenstown is that the neighbours, who are Germans and have supported Queenstown through staff shortages, have now been told their rent is going to be an extra $500 a month. Why? Because of pure greed and the flights arriving in again. Back to the bad old days. K. Sutherland
