Harris to captain Warriors

Rugby league: Warriors captain Tohu Harris has been named for his longawaited first match of the NRL season against South Sydney Rabbitohs in Brisbane on Saturday.

Harris has been named in the second row for a match which will not just be his first in 300 days but also his first as captain since being officially appointed last December. Harris (30) has not played since rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Penrith at Suncorp Stadium on July 18 last year.

Winger Marcelo Montoya is back from his fourmatch suspension for contrary conduct for the Magic Round encounter. — RNZ
