Grizzlies crush Warriors
Basketball: Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson jun and Tyus Jones each scored 21 points and sank four threepointers as the host Memphis Grizzlies steamrolled the Golden State Warriors 13495 in yesterday’s Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals.
The Grizzlies had little trouble cutting Golden State's series lead to 32, with Kiwi Steven Adams collecting 13 rebounds, Jones compiling nine assists and Jackson grabbing eight boards for secondseeded Memphis, which led by as many as 55 points. The 39point margin of victory is the Grizzlies' largest in postseason play, topping a 12496 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this postseason.
Game 6 is tomorrow in San Francisco.
In the Eastern Conference, the visiting Milwaukee Bucks rallied past the Boston Celtics 110107 for a 32 lead in their semifinal series. Game 6 is scheduled for tomorrow in Milwaukee. — Field Level Media/AAP
