Roe v Wade rallies

Washington: Protests against the US Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion to overturn Roe v Wade are set to culminate this weekend with a national ‘‘day of action’’ featuring marches, rallies and speakers in dozens of cities on Sunday (Saturday US time).

The ‘‘Bans Off Our Bodies’’ daylong event is organised by groups including Women’s March, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, UltraViolet, MoveOn, the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Abortion Rights Action League. — TCA
