Time to speak up on fishing rights

-

OVER time successive New Zealand governments have taken away your freedom to fish. Large fishing companies bought fishing quota, a tax. You now pay more for your table fish as a direct result. Government employees and politicians gain ever increasing salaries, paid for by extracting freedoms from you. Were you aware?

The same politicians emboldened by your acquiescence now seek to give your final sovereignty to the United Nations by signing a treaty that allows the World Health Organisation, a UN subsidiary, to lock you down without proof of a health crisis. The Government recently locked you down for a disease now proven to be no worse than a cold and forced you to vaccinate to save your job or business. The WHO, if we sign, will be able to lock you down on any pretext.

Your right to free speech is about to be taken from you. Your right to free association was taken away during the socalled pandemic. Your right to work was taken away from you. Your right to run a business was taken away from you, unless of course you were a supermarket or a largescale store. A small or mediumsize business, hospitality, tourism, bad luck.

Your right to protest was taken away by 120 parliamentarians, elected to act for the people, who would not discuss illegal mandates with the peaceful protesters. Many of these 120 including the prime minister, the speaker and the Minister for Covid Response had been protesters as young people. Some had been locked up. But when approximately 30% of the population rose up against tyranny, the former protesters abandoned their principles and literally poured cold water on the protests and instituted police action to stop the protest without hearing their legitimate concerns.

Wake up New Zealand, while you sleep in fear, your rights were taken away and the next step is about to happen. Your sovereignty is about to disappear. Wholesale slavery is upon us. John Evans
