Golden State wins opener

Basketball: Stephen Curry scored 21 points and grabbed a gamehigh 12 rebounds as his Golden State Warriors held Luka Doncic in check to beat the Dallas Mavericks 11287 and take a 10 lead in the NBA’s Western Conference finals yesterday.

Mavericks superstar Doncic scored 20 points but shot just six from 18 and three from 10 from deep in the series opener in San Francisco.
