Arrests follow ram raids

Auckland: Police have arrested four young people following two ram raids in Auckland on Saturday night.

Thieves used a car to break into a shop in Greenhithe and stole cigarettes and alcohol shortly before midnight.

Officers made the arrests after using road spikes in Massey.

A car was also used to break into a shop in Onehunga Mall early yesterday. Nothing was taken.

Police were still trying to find the culprits. — RNZ
