Two hurt in skifield road crash

Queenstown: Two people were left with moderate injuries after their car crashed over a cliff near Queenstown yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said the incident happened about 5.15pm when the vehicle with multiple passengers slid off the Remarkables Ski Field Access Rd.

A St John spokesman said only one of the two was taken to Lakes District Hospital.
