Paula Style

woman to woman

- Paula

I am very excited about this summer, it has proved to be one of our most successful seasons since we launched the PAULA RYAN clothing Collection.

Our

first Collection was in 1998 for Winter, four NZ Merino tops available in three colours… black, black or black. Back then all our styles were ESSENTIALS and the quality of them became the building blocks from which we have developed and grown. We now produce a seasonal Collection of 50 ESSENTIALS and 130 fashion styles. We are proud of our devotion to quality and sustainability and continue to embrace these initiatives by developing unique fabrics from New Zealand fibres, where possible. Our garments are also made in New Zealand by factories who clearly understand our passion for quality and our dedication to being a truly New Zealand company in every aspect. I have loved the fashion journey and still enjoy working with our team developing fabulous designs, as well as publishing our seasonal magazine along with other social media activities. No two seasons are the same as fashion like food, does not stand still. Fashion is a social barometer of each decade and is also a way of creating visual individuality for each of us, as women. I have listed my favourite items for the season on the back page. Please note below, some new developments that will help to keep you ‘up to speed’ with the ‘new’. Do join our social media activities and enjoy the promotions, tips and news offered.

A beauty highlight this summer is to wear super natural makeup with a lip colour that pops. This collection with primer included, is from Clinique. Called POP LIP COLOUR + PRIMER there are 16 stunning colours. They are not only long lasting and achieve instant impact; they are out of this world.

2 Pierre Cardin have the best, easy care, affordable robes. I have been a total devotee of the white cotton towelling styles for years. I even provide them for my house guests. This one is a new design for the brand and in Modal, a jersey made from wood fiber, natural, sexy and slinky.

3 Being conscious of the need for a simple-to-tie turban for women with the side effects of hair loss, we have created a lightweight Micromodal version which has proved super popular. Ask your retailer as they are available on request. Tie as per photo or twist ends into a rope effect around the head, then tuck in to add extra height.
